Life Lessons Learned

SEPTEMBER 25, 2018

Emma got caught up in her school work finally and is actually done for the week so she now has Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week off from school. We struggle a lot when we first began our home school on FLVS Flex. We took way to many classes at one time and after I finally found a group to join that all does the same program I quickly learned that doing home school though this program you should only take three classes at a time work directly on those classes at a fast pace and then move on to the next three classes. So I guess we could say we defiantly learned our lesson on trying to take on to much at one time. Emma worked long hours trying to get it all caught up and she did and we couldn’t be more proud of her!

Emma is ready for cheer practice. She has practice from 6:30 to 8:30pm which they always run over so it is more like 9pm. Today she is hoping to learn the dance and be a part of the pyramid . Fingers crossed she will get to If you want to see if she does it could end up in our Vlog! Stay tuned for that part of the routine. She is so excited to be doing cheer again. Cheer is a great way for her to shine! This time I hope she makes as many friends as she can and keeps in contact with them this time. Maybe one day you’ll get the chance to meet her in person and learn that Emma is very very shy in person. Maybe someday i’ll get her out of that. We all know I am not shy LOL!

Ellie is all ready for school and ready to head off and take on the day. Today they have planning for their up coming trip. They get to go to Tallahassee for a field trip and its is over night. She gets to go with Meeka and her mom and stay in a hotel and she couldn’t be happier to spend two whole days with them and her school. They worked on their Scholastic news which talks about “Dress for Success”. I tell the girls all the time that you don’t have to look good for other people but you have to look good for yourself so you can shine when you need too!

When Ellie came home from school she of course had to make some slime. She calls this Yellow sunshine. If you have ever made slime she made this with Dyso and it so smooth and soft. Wish you could feel it LOL! She added some glitter for a pretty effect. Ellie has become really good at making slime these days and she always tell me she should sell her slime. Maybe someday I might find time for that.
